Spirit Design was invited by the Municipality of Prague to participate in an international tender for a new design concept for the aging inclined lift (funicular) to the Pétrin next to Prague Castle.
With our congenial partner Döllmann Design and his team, we developed and presented a strategically sound concept aesthetically based on the unique design of the old wagons. The jury was particularly impressed by the functional room layout, which offers maximum comfort and views of Prague for tourists and locals alike. From originally more than 10 competitors we had to give way to only one local hero, but see for yourself: isn’t it a masterpiece?
