Ceremonial Unveiling

Presentation by EREMA

Under the motto “COUNTDOWN TO THE NEW DIMENSION“, EREMA made things quite exciting. The time finally came for EREMA to show what it had developed at the K 2013 in Düsseldorf, the most important international trade show for plastics and rubber. The new plant system INTAREMA® produced according to our design was ceremonially unveiled and presented to interested industry professionals.

INTAREMA® opens up a new dimension in plastic recycling thanks to the newly-developed, revolutionary core technology, the globally patented Counter Current technology from EREMA along with other groundbreaking technical innovations. This ensures the highest level of productivity, flexibility and operational reliability based on the easiest possible use and considerably reduced energy consumption. The dynamic design we conceived optimally conveys these milestones in the construction of plastic recycling plants.

Our puristic, linear outer design perfectly highlights the innovative core technology and the new gear units driving INTAREMA®. The principle underlying the form is functional and streamlined. The perfect engineering of the plant transports a very clear product message. We also attached particular importance in the design to the control panel of INTAREMA®. As an important interface between man and machine, it ensures optimal usability and an intuitive use similar to smart phones.

The festively presented INTAREMA® plant system caused quite a sensation. It produces high-grade regranulates, valuable secondary raw materials, from plastic waste. Since the company was established in the year 1983, EREMA has specialized in the development of plastic recycling technologies. Time and again the Upper Austrian company has revolutionized the industry thanks to numerous innovations. In the meantime, the EREMA technologies have served for decades as the globally leading standard for various recycling applications. 30 years after its founding, the world market leader once again sets new benchmarks in plastic recycling on the basis of its new core technology and numerous additional technical innovations.
